I rarely rate a picture as highly as I have rated this one. The vision is excellent. I absolutely love the idea of this picture, and more so the truth conveyed in it. It's true that reading is magic, and you've expressed that brilliantly.
The swirls of magic are great; the luminosity is perfect. However, since it is so bright, the light reflected on Twilight should be a little bit brighter. It would also be good if those swirls extended further- the light dies very quickly.
Another problem is that the eyes are a little expressionless. They should be more full of joy and excitement. They are also somewhat devoid of light and are a little flat.
Otherwise, this picture is great. The shadow is in just the right places and the hair blows realistically. Overall, you've done a fantastic job. Well done!

This was really well drawn, and the idea was excellent as well. I haven't seen anything like this before, style-wise. The technique in this is well done, however her face looks a little too smoothed out, and could use a little texture. The outlines on her face show a little too much as well, but it helps keep the anatomy looking good. The book looks really good, and it was a great idea for the green. Color choice was definitely excellent in this case, where it gives it a more calm feel to it. It could use the rule of thirds to help bring it out more, which is what damaged the impact aspect of it. Overall, great job. +1 favorite, and I'll check out more of your art in the future.

Using ones imagination to fill in the blanks is the best thing about reading.
This reminds me a bit of the Pagemaster, actually. Now THAT was an awesome movie!
