Description
This is a collab between me and my german friendpsd. files were swapped for a while and this came out of it. I'm very pleased how this co-operation worked.

you got borders? well, I don't honestly see not much same in your borders and mine. I make my borders with ink, you use obviously some brushes in Photoshop. Besides they look really different.
it's pretty sad that a fellow twisted realmz member attacks me with some kind of accusations. I saw grungy borders for the first time in Spawn magazine in year 1997 I think. I've used borders in some of my works before I even got internet. So I don't really believe that you have copyrighted the borders, you'd got a lot of law charges to do for people. Start with Wayshak I think he got lots of borders
You might want to think again what you say. I think your art is good, but you better learn some humbleness and respect for other people's art.

Honestly I haven't seen that goddamn work of yours before and now that I have seen it I don't see much similarity to our work!!! So shut the fuck up, except that you use borders too. Besides the idea for the pose came from In fact it is he in the pic. The title came from cletus in the last minute we were submitting this piece to DA. Borders and most of the treemanipulation was made by me + those little tooth and most of the skulls there too. I'm sorry but I think this is ridiculous!

I've seen images like this before, man morphed into tree, and this is the best manipulation in that strain I've seen yet. Usually it looks contrived, and 2 dimensional, but you two did a great job of making it blend perfectly, and retain that 3dimensionality that really makes it work well. Amazing concept, I love it!

Excellent collab. I personally stray away a bit from collabs, but I can definitely see elements idiomatic towards your artistic repetoire in this work. It is highly expressive and evocative, the figure, gesture, posture, and background all support the image strongly. The greyed colour scheme also creates a nice...funiki...uhh, ambiance I think (excuse me, I forgetting english steadily). I really like how bottom heavy the composition is. It drags the eye down, yet the image also throws it out away from the image plane, which is a very interesting compositional dynamic. The bordering frame quality is also a wonderful touch, creating a feel similiar to using watercolour paper, yet also like some kind of post-modern picture frame with a wonderful texture. Excellent work for the both of you.

Absolutely bloody marvelous, this reminds me of some illustrations that were in a horror book I had once, gave me nightmares it did (the book that is, not your picture, but if it did give me nightmares it would certainley be in a good way) RARR!
