Finally A Pactio Kiss between Konoka and Setsuna... and what a kiss, say whatever you want but they are VISIBLY enjoying this kiss... not to mention the face that Konoka seems to give Setsuna a French kiss...
With this Konoka and Setsuna and officially recognized as a Yuri Pairing ^^ I know I'm getting ahead of myself but I was REALLY Rooting for KonoSetsu.

Yesss, I had an idea reading chapter 251 that something was gonna happen with Konoka and Setuna on the next one. And something as delicious as this!
I didn't notice till the second time reading the chapter that her hand had moved from Setuna's upper back to the back of her neck. That made me nearly pass out and seizure alllll over the place. *w* But I was at a friend's house. I ran into her living room (where she was watching TV with her mother) and I hissed, "KONOKA AND SETSUNA KISSED!" and dragged her to her bedroom by her arm to share the Konosetsu love with her. We highfived. xD
I mean, at the end of the first page of the kiss and it's like "PACTIO!", you expect Setsuna to awkwardly pull away, but you read into the next page and the kiss CONTINUES and you know it couldn't get any better than that. ;w; Me and my friend both squealed "toooongue!"
Slightly unrelated topic: Reading into the comments you wrote with that other person; I had a theory. Since Konoka's always involved in these arranged marriage meetings... I did some thinking about what Eishun might think about Konoka and Setsuna together. That maybe he hired HER (a girl) because he didn't want a bodyguard that would fall in love with Konoka/Konoka would fall in love with. (Yet it appears it happened anyway). So I'm almost worried about what Eishun's opinion will be, if this relationship develops. It might turn into a FORBIDDEN LOVE STORY! But that might make it more exciting.

[chuckles] Well I was really happy that we'll see See-chan and Kono-chan having fun but Pactio... that hit me out of the blue, not that I mind of course ^^ I was in a Squealing mood when I saw it. But yeah it certainly is Delicious, Konoka's hand seem to Scream "I have you know my pretty Fufufufu".
Yeah the "hand" part was something that really kicked the awesomeness of this scene through the roof. Konoka seizes her beloved one, it's actually... almost as if she was taking Setsuna by force, Almost XD It's almost as if Kono-chan was saying "You are mine now". Konoka is a really naughty little girl isn't she ?? And that Tongue... TONGUE. Haha I was waiting for it for SO DAMN LONG but now I'm satisfied ^^ Now I just want to see Setsuna beating Tsukuyomi to a pulp, securing her happiness. Ech if Only I had anyone to Highfive with about this T_T In the real life that is.
You know the way you described it... Konoka simply forced Setsuna to accept her feelings... up until then Setsuna was always kinda... scared and embarrassed of her feelings but this time Konoka showed her that there is nothing wrong with them MORE she showed Setsuna that she shares those feelings.
Hoooo so you are saying that this little plan backfired in his face, huh ?? Well as I already said I wouldn't want to be the one saying that Konoka and Setsuna's feeling are wrong. Cause that someone will have the Whole Ala Godamn Alba against him/her. I seriously doubt that anyone in the Ala Alba would stand idle when their friends are mistreated.
Also Naaaah I don't think so. Setsuna appeared in Konoka's life long before those arranged marriage meetings even started and they grew close to each other. MORE if I'm not mistaken that nodachi Setsuna is using is the very same one Eishuun used when he was travelling with Nagi. If anything it's more like Eishuun is saying "Setsuna-kun, please take care of my little girl". I doubt he would have anything against their love, and Konoka's grandpa would be probably like "Hohoho Konoka but I want grand-grand-kids". Well in the worst case scenario Konoka would probably have kids with Negi and then live happily with Setsuna bringing up those kids... or some Magic Ding-Dang-Dong will come into play allowing Set-chan and Kono-chan to have kids XD
Mhm while we are at Konoka and Negi you know what I realized ?? They are Almost like siblings/cousins. This is the way I was thinking.
1. Eishuun and Nagi were very close friends, right ?? (Eishuun said it himself, and he was part of the original Ala Rubra)
2. Soooo if they are very close friends it almost makes them brothers right ??
3. So if they are Almost-Brothers then their children are Almost-Sibgling/Cousins, right ??
If Nagi didn't disappeared and led a more peaceful life together with his wife (Arika?) and his son then I'm almost sure that they would visit Eishuun from time to time and Konoka would play with little Negi-chan as if he was her little brother ^^

Yes, I have always had the feeling that Konoka was more possessive and not-innocent than what she's given credit for. People tend to think she's just bubbly and kind of clueless, but there's something about her face when she gets serious that's very grown-up (as seen in the 'deep' kiss) that's less cute and more beautiful. And that ensures more of Setsuna flipping out and being uncontrolably cute. x3
Back to Konoka being more serious about Setsuna... Tsukuyomi is such an obsessive freak when it comes to Setsuna.. I was thinking it'd be awesome if Konoka got into a jealous rage and ended up beating her up SOMEHOW, SOMEWAY. I mean, Tsukuyomi practically rapes Setsuna (while trying to beat her up) and it'd be awesome if Konoka drew the line.
Anddd, back to pactio! The kiss was so distracting that many of us forgot a very important thing; the card. What on earth could this new card's power be!? If it was created with the love they share and Setsuna's will to protect Konoka... what power could be have been granted that she doesn't possess already!? That's something that really has me excited; to see that new power!
As far as Eishun and everyone; your theory beats mine. I like your's better, anyway. Except Konoka/Negi kids. Oh god, no. D: Hahaha. Just, I don't see that happening.
And that makes Nagi kinda like Konoka's... godfather for so to speak. Interesting.
Bringing up something sadder now.
Setsuna is going to live several lifetimes longer than Konoka, being a half-demon. This is one thing that I almost considered that would make Setsuna not want to be with her--the fear of one day leaving her behind. But something tells me Akamatsu has something planned for this. I wonder if something big will happen, like granting Konoka a longer life, or maybe Setsuna making the sacrifice of downgrading to a human somehow. (Kinda like Inuyasha, where they wanna use the power of the jewel to make him human so he can be with Kikyo.) They'd have to wait for more peaceful times before they could make Secchan a human, but that's one thing I considered. Though I really will miss those wings! D:

Hehe this truth hit me with a power of a strategic nuclear missile in the chapter where Anya wanted to take Negi back home. When Konoka started with the "Is it because you like Negi ??" And finished the Killer Combo with Fake Nee-chan phone call... That girl is friggin dangerous XD I second Setsuna's words "Wonderful show of crisis management Ojou-sama" ^^ Konoka is simply too carefree and jolly to be dangerous XD But I'll feel sorry for the first person who'll make Konoka Get Serious, more about that later in the reply. But yeah Konoka can be very beautiful and mature when she gets serious... and there is something scary about her when she deals with either her father or grandpa, to be able to maintain such cute face while smacking someone with a hammer... dangerous
Ahhhh yesssss, as strange as it is I found that scene where Tsukuyomi strips and almost rapes Setsuna seriously disturbing... Akamatsu is a God because he can make people feel quite disturbed by a character that under any other circumstances couldn't even dream about being intimidating. And don't forget what she said back during the Kyoto arc, that she'll make BOTH Setsuna AND Konoka hers. Back to Konoka getting serious, until now we've seen only Konoka's healing magic, but I'm almost sure that Evangeline and Seras taught her some offensive spells. If Tsukuyomi would Setsuna then Konoka would go into that "berserk" state she was when Set-chan was shot by an arrow in Kyoto. When you combine the "berserk" which appears to give Konoka full control over her powers AND the fact that she might know some offensive spells... Tsukuyomi you are like SO SCREWED. At least I hopes something like this could happen, I hopes that Akamatsu won't leave Konoka as a Mobile Healing Station, the thing that Kubo Tite did to Orihime Inoue. But Akamatsu is quite good at messing with our heads so maybe he's waiting for a good moment to show us just HOW powerful Konoka is.
Yeah the new pactio card seems to have caused some serious commotion in the fan community. Hmm I Might be wrong, but perhaps Akamatsu came to conclusion that the previous artifact wasn't all that useful/great for Setsuna so he used a plot twist to give her a new one. It's all quite confusing since the only multi-pactio person we know is Colonel Chicken and he seems to have the same cards. I think you are right, the difference is because of love. We can Only guess but I think that all those partners Albireo had a... pure business-like connection with him. And Here we have a strong emotional bond, perhaps the closer the mage and the partner are the more power the partner can gain. Or... Wait a minute... if I remember correctly Konoka was shown to have More magical power than Negi, right ?? Maybe that's why, since she have more power she "overwrote" the previous contract. [sigh] We can only guess, I wonder what will Akamatsu-sensei show to us.

Well Rakan treats Konoka more or less like a niece or something ^^ Which would make each member of the Ala Rubra an unofficial uncle of Konoka and Negi.
Well we don't even know IF Setsuna will have a longer lifespan, up until now she was developing like a normal human girl. Look at Theodore, she is 30ty but looks like twenty, if Setsuna Did have a longer lifespan she wouldn't look her age. She was developing at an identical pace as Konoka. Also we don't know if Konoka won't have a longer life-span, after all she can heal quite incredibly gruesome wounds and she isn't even at the peak of her power so maybe she'll be able to lengthen her lifespan, also the very fact that she can use magic may suggest longer life. Long lifespan seem rather standard for wizards and sorceress in fantasy stories. Or we'll just have Evangeline turn both of them into vampires and be her Evil Sub-bosses for the eternity XD

"Dangerous", mm? That should go on a list of describing words for Konoka. At least, if Setsuna wrote it, it'd be aside from all the wonderful things she has to say about her. Her power doesn't only lie in healing... Haha. The hammer is a formidable weapon, considering she can produce it out of NOWHERE and thrust you in the head with such a happy face, and cause blood to spurt here and there. o: Even though that hammer was used for gags, it'd be cool if Konoka became a combat mage of sorts and got a giant hammer as an offensive weapon! xD "Kono-chan SMASH!!" I might have to draw that one day. o_o I think I might.. no I have to. If she became some sort of chain murderer, she'd be terrifying with that HAPPY SMILE! D:
I find Tsukuyomi disturbing altogether... Her quick obsession with Setsuna was a shock from the start, and her want to hurt her is twisted. >: Of course, she is an enemy, but it's like she gets turned on by seeing Setsuna in pain. D: And when she reappeared that one time recently, the way she was licking her sword freaked me smooth out. ;_; I didn't even expect the stripping/near rape part--that was just terrifying! She is the only horrifying enemy out of them all to me.
Yes, 'berserk' mode would be awesomely awesome. owo She can't just not know how to attack; otherwise Eva was a pretty poor teacher. Even if she doesn't have any offensive powers, though, who's to say they won't awaken from a little blood-boil, explode out of her with full force? Ahh, the thought of that makes me tingle with joy and excitement for the next time she is put in a situation like that. Yeah, it'd be a waste of a good character if Akamatsu abused her like Orihime. >: (I really like Orihime, too. Yeah, Setsuna's card was pretty good with Negi but not that great. I was hoping for a better one, and now we (probably) have one! I believe Konoka and Setsuna's closeness will make this card stronger--that, matched with Setsuna's power she already possesses and Konoka's high amount of power. I mean, if she has more power than Negi--the son of the Thousand Master--then this should ensure the greatest pactio of all time! Even if it didn't overwrite the previous pactio, Setsuna doesn't really need it anymore, with this new one... Maaaan, I wish I knew more of this stuff! D: But then again we can't ask Akamatsu to write faster--he's a busy man. ;_;
I think you blew a hole in the lifespan theory--that makes me very happy. ;w; I've always imagined that Setsuna would outlive Konoka for being a half-demon, but I had noticed that she's growing at the same rate that Konoka is... So maybe the human part in her overpowers the long life a demon would live COMPLETELY, instead of cutting it in half like I'd suspected. With that out of the way, Setsuna and Konoka are perfect to live a life together. Plus, she doesn't have to lose her wings. Everyone wins! xD And yes, most mythical characters with powers, even humans, live longer than normal civilians. So maybe once they get to a certain stage in womanhood, they will both stop growing and live longer together. That would be so epic. ;u; Vampires--cute idea. Hahaha. They can live together for all eternity, and serve under the Dark Evangel! Buuuut... not likely. lol

[Chuckles] It reminds me of one scene in the Negima OVA Haru. It's part of the Negima!? I think but it's very similar to the Beach chapters, the ones where Asuna was angry at Negi for leaving her out of the trip to Nagi's "Clue" under the World Tree. Anyway, the thing is that Konoka wears, a rather... darring swimsuit and Setsuna ends up getting all flustered, when we see Konoka's different "parts" we hear Setsuna words "It's hot Ojou-sama. It's... hot". One heck of an amusing scene XD

It's not only Setsuna's pain, though Set-chan is giving her a lot of pleasure. She seem aroused by killing virtually anyone like when she wanted to slice up the crew of that submarine. She is Definitely an evil character while Fate May have some redeeming qualities and be Not so Very Evil Tsukuyomi seem like a complete monster. Yeah the near-rape was quite a shock, especially when you take a look at Negima in overall, there's almost nothing like this anywhere else in the manga (well Tosaka seemed a bit close to sexual harassment but mama beat it out of him... you know I find it extremely amusing that Mama's beating up was the More Pleasant alternative for Tosaka. Negi can be scary when he puts his heart into it)
True, she might be capable of using some powerful destructive powers even without the education, after all she pulled that powerful healing spell in Kyoto without even knowing about magic. Well every character seem to have some serious character development (maybe except Kaede cause she is awesome even without character development XD) so I'm almost sure that Konoka will at some point show us Just what is she capable off

And I don't know any nicer character than Konoka. Just how awesome it would be if carefree, sweet and nice Konoka would pull an earth-shattering spell while defending Setsuna:-] complete with Nagi-style neck-grab and "Don't you DARE touch my Set-chan" delivered to Tsukuyomi.
Well I was referring more to the fact that we very rarely saw her using that artifact, so it seemed rather... well, worthless for her. Who knows perhaps she'll get some legendary super-magic sword ?? Well if Konoka would concentrate majority of her power to supporting Setsuna then Set-chan would get really powerful... you know what I just realized. The magic-transfer when the contract is activated is rather... pleasant isn't it ?? Hehe why do I feel that Set-chan will react to Konoka's magic the same way Chachamaru reacted to Negi's "screwing" ?? Hehehe "O...Ojou-sama not... not so hard... not so much"
Well we can always go to Japan and torture the details out of Akamatsu ^^ Naaaah I like him too much to use such methods on him... let's get him extremely drunk and get all the information out of him ^^
Aside from this all we don't even know IF the Earth's demons have longer life-span. Oh yes it would be a horrible loss if Setsuna had to give up her wings... I wonder if we'll ever be able to witness a scene of Konoka tending to Setsuna's wings like Asuna did... heh Naaaah it would get too close to a hentai XD But it would be cute, Set-chan all flustered and embarrassed while Konoka gently are lovingly tend to her wings.
Not likely indeed but I'd be extremely amused if something like this would happen. While we are at it... I wonder what will become of Evangeline, especially if/when she regains her power. If the story is going to get as epic as I suppose it will get then Ala Alba will certainly need Eva's full firepower. And to be able to see Eva all the time in her adult form... Nyohohohoho :-3 You know... I felt kinda angry at Nagi when he was rejecting Eva, she seemed so desperate to get his love. He was most likely one of the first people (if not the first) who showed her kindness. First person in hundreds of years.........
Btw. while we are at life-span and stuff. How do you think it is with Asuna ?? Cause according to calculations she is around 25 years old but she looks young enough to make people think she is 14. Does she have the longer life-span like people from Hellas, or maybe an age-reducing spell was cast on her ?? Now that I think about it, Asuna Never used one of those age-deceiving pills, the only time we see her as Chibi was when the Fake Asuna took them. Could it be that after Fate recovers her memories she'll get considerably older ?? It would look quite cool to see 25 years old Asuna ^^

It's obvious by "It's hot" that Setsuna means something other than the temperature. It's cute when she inadvertendly tells Konoka how she really feels. Not to mention her freakouts are beyond adorable. It would've been epic if they prolonged that, and made Konoka tease her a little bit and push her over the edge. I was hoping for that throughout the movie, actually. xD

But yes, that would be very, very awesome to see something drastic like Konoka going berserk to happen in the manga, and shock everyone. And then later she would be all happy again and everyone would be skittish around her, like 'when's she gonna blow again..?' Ah, it's a good story when the protected protects the protector. That would be sweet.
I was thinking about some kinda special sword, but I like Yuunagi for her best. >: I can't think of just what this card will do for her... I mean, what more does she need? She's already super fast so speed increase wouldn't be great, she's super strong and has awesome sword skills with her shinmei arts, so she doesn't need that... And she can FLY, so there's another thing she doesn't need. I hope (or trust) that Akamatsu actually has something big planned for it and isn't playing this by ear. After all, for the Mahora Fest tournament, he got the order of battles by rolling dice! But something big like this has to be planned. Maybe the reason he waited so long to form the pactio was he had to have time to think about what he'd do for it? Oh, the MAGIC TRANSFER. O^O Uh-oh. When Negi activated the four original contracts and did that transfer that one time a long time ago, they all reacted with their blushing faces. And the one who liked him most (Nodoka) seemed to be affected the most... So that means Setsuna is probably really gonna get the feeling of this contract. I hope it doesn't hold her back in battle. xD She goes to attack the enemy, but falls on the ground and begins to moan--NOSEBLEED AAAAAGGH!

Considering how Setsuna reacted when just Asuna was mending her wings, well, just imagine her reaction with Konoka! I'm sure she would want to cuddle the fluffy things and bury her face in them and smell them (I would... 
Evangeline in her adult form at full power ALL THE TIME? She would be indestructable (well, with the exception of garlic stew pitfalls)! Though she would look epic, I would eventually miss her 10-year-old form, as weird as that is. And yes, that pissed me off at the Mahora Fest tournament, before Nagi left... How he refused to 'take her into his arms'. It was funny with his kiddish response: "Don't wanna!", but it was disappointing. And she cried. CRIED! The Advent of Evil, Dark Evangel, CRIEDDD! ...and then she kicked Colonel Sanders in the head. Hahaha.
I just thought about the Asuna being older thing. o___o Wow, she is a lot older than 14. If she does regain her memories and go back to her original age, she would of course be able to kick more butt, but it'd be weird for her to be that much older than everyone else all the time. :/

Yes yes I just loved her reaction to Konoka's swimsuit. I loved the way Setsuna reacted to Konoka's offer of sharing futton i the second Ala Alba OVA, she was so cute there, all blushing and fidgety while Konoka had that happy smile on her face. To be frank Konoka seemed rather oblivious to Setsuna's reaction to her swimsuit... odd. To be frank (as a pervert and proud of being one) I wouldn't mind Konoka Literally pushing Set-chan down XD But naaah she will slowly and gently peel down all the insecurities and fears of Setsuna and only then take her ^^. Mhm you know I'd love to see a scene where Setsuna breaks down in front of Konoka and lists all her (supposed) weaknesses and such, with tears in her eyes she would tell Konoka about how unworthy she is... and then Konoka would just hug her and allow her to cry on her arm, and then tired but relaxed Setsuna would put her head on Konoka's lap and fall asleep with Konoka lovingly stroking her hair and looking at her with a warm smile.

Haha Yeah Mama is an adorable... erm... Plushy (runs from "Who are you calling a plushy" throwing Mama). Haha Yeah that's exactly what made that scene so much more awesome. Usually one wouldn't even Dream about seeing Negi like this, but here... he was like "Move out of the way Kotarou-kun, I don't want to turn you into dust together with that bastard". I'm actually surprised that Tosaka had GUTS to threaten Negi with hurting his students again, ESPECIALLY after seeing what Negi is capable of. That guy really have guts I'll give him that. Negi become more and more badass with every chapter be it his adult version or the kid version (I loved it how he Death Glared Alexander Zaitsev aka Chiko-tan into obedience "I can't fight that kid I'll get killed".
Naaaaah in the worst case scenario she'll just snap, turn her opponent into bloody stain on the floor and come back to her sunny disposition ^^ Yeaaaah everyone would start treating her Really seriously from that moment on
I'm not surprised they thought she'd get Too powerful, she was one of the... two most powerful characters in the class (not counting Eva) the fact that she stood up against Nagi and was still able to move after that says something about her power, and it was Many Upgrades Ago. Well she doesn't have to cause an Apocalypse, Rakan and Full Power Eva are like walking small-scale apocalypses themselves XD

Mhm true, and it's Konoka's father's sword so it's his wish and will of protecting Konoka. Hmm both her outfit and the sword can't be her artifacts... darn I really have no idea. Maybe it will be something non-battle oriented like Kaede'a cloak ?? Hahahaha or how about a Psycho-Lesbian repelants XD Would work wonders against Tsukyomi XD But if it's not battle oriented then we have almost no chances at guessing. We'll have to wait for the new chapter, fortunately we'll have Raws tomorrow, it seems like Seras will come to the rescue, but how will it develop later on... and the thing I'm the most interested in, what of Yue and her friends ?? Will Yue stay with Ariadne knights, will they join Ala Alba, or maybe Yue will desert the squad and go with Ala Alba, and also how will Emily treat Negi from now on.

The demon looks at her confused... and after a moment turns around blushing and utters "Erm... well... let's end this some other time" and walks away quickly XD That would a hilarious moment. But think about all the naughty possibilities it gives to Konoka, what if she'd activate the contract In the Middle of the Classes ??
And here I'm wondering YET again just how can Setsuna consider those wings a bad and monstrous thing. For god's sake if she'd end up walking around with those wings in Mahora then it wouldn't take her... 30 second to get cuddled and petted almost to death XD To be frank I'd love to see a scene where Konoka is sitting on Setsuna's lap and Set-chan is covering her beloved one with those warm fluffy wings. I don't think we have to Talk him into it, he is the Fanservice god he have it planned almost for sure ^^

But back to Eva, yeah she would be pretty much unbeatable... though who knows, there are people like Jack Rakan or dragons like Vrixas Nagasha on the Good side so there have to be someone equally powerful on the Bad Side, it would get boring otherwise. Well I at least hopes that Negima will continue to follow One Piece's example in "People die only in retrospections". I would get really angry if Negi died (remember how Rakan said that Negi is the kind of guy who dies 3 chapters before the end of the story ??) On the other hand if Negi died it would give Ala Alba excuse to go to Hell and completely trash it to get him back. The first night they stayed at the hotel in the Ala Alba OVA.. the morning that Anya walked on Negi sleeping with (that sounded naughty..) Asuna... Konoka and Setsuna were in the room sleeping, and I can't help but notice when Anya punched Negi out the window, Konoka and Setsuna's heads popped up right by each other. Maybe THEY were pulling a Negi and Asuna that night and cuddled in the same futon. Haha... As far as Konoka being 'oblivious'... Well, she has this 'not impressed' look on her face after Setsuna blubbered those 'it's hot' excuses. I bet her motives were TO freak out Setsuna, secretly. But she acts pretty dang oblivious to it all. xDDD And Konoka PUSH down Secchan!? Bwahh~! I wouldn't mind that myself, but I don't think that'd be her approach. xD Unless the mood got really good and Setsuna slowly tried to escape.. then Konoka would have no choice but to be a little aggressive. That's the irony in their relationship, you know? Though Setsuna seems like she'd be the more masculine one, Konoka seems to be more assertive as far as any action going on between them. One thing I notice about Negi's angry freak-outs is I don't see his actions changing from pure rage (i.e. him being so angry he runs over his friends in the process). One thing about his character is a very strong sense of justice and sticking to what's right, no matter what. He's a great protagonist. And the fact that it's not very likely for him to 'get together' with the lead girl (Asuna) is very good; different from the cliché storyline, and I thought that was good of Akamatsu. *awards him golden sticker* And I'd be terrified of receiving a Negi Death Glare directly. ;_; I'm sure it's almost as bad as him going Thunder God on me. D:

LOL, Setsuna takes off from the battle in a hurry and the demon's like "...?" And later Setsuna tells Konoka she shouldn't have even done the transfer because of how it 'makes her feel'. xD That might start a rather interesting (and/or awkward) conversation between the two. Konoka saying, "ooooh, how DOES it make you feel? Ooooh, why is thaat?" xD Konoka activating the contract during CLASS!? Oh LAWWD, the contract would quite the weapon. D: Konoka's ultimate attack on Secchan. Hahaha. I just imagined her putting her head down, not wanting to turn around and make a fuss with Konoka, and lightly moaning into her desk and squirming in her seat. She'd eventually draw a little attention from the class, so she would quickly shout, "EXCUSE ME, NEGI-SENEI can I please be dismissed to the restroom THANK YOU" and not even wait for a response before dashing out the classroom. I can imagine Konoka's innocent expression and subtle giggle, and scribble happily in a notebook like nothing happened.
Walking around in the halls with those wings? xD Less than thirty seconds; I give her .3 seconds. But this might spark jealousy in Konoka. That would be beyond interesting. owo Konoka would cuddle her wings from behind and protectively hog them up and not let anyone go near, like "MY fluffies!" But the attention wouldn't be a good thing with the entirety of the school knowing about how different she is. It's best they're kept secret.. but not around Konoka. x3 I think that wing and cuddle scene is a given. Akamatsu knows what he's doing, and with a couple like that he really has no choice. :3
Eva-chan's being sexy for battle and hardcore situations is very pleasing, but her being a kick-ass ten-year-old.. I dunno, there's something awesome about that. xD It's not like Negi's ten-year-oldness. It's just that this feared demon vampire is nothing but a cute girl with long hair and a bad attitude. And I love the faces she makes, especially pissed ones with evil grins. It's cute, in a scary way. The fact that she's centuries old with that body is cool; an irony that I appreciate.
Yes, if the good side could just crush the bad side, it would be boring. There's definitely someone out there who is seriously dangerous. Some huge, incredibly evil, ruthless bad guy who can crush their bones to dust--a main bad guy, if you will. xD But that might not come for a little while. :/ Yes, I could imagine Negi's group busting into Hell, Asuna personally kicking the door down, and drag him out. xD Or maybe it can be an Asuna/Chisame/Anya-fused kick. That would be overdoing it big time. xD
Eva seems pretty devoted to getting Nagi (though that ain't happening). Negi and Evangeline is one couple that I like a LOT for some reason. o_o I mean, that one time he went to her seeking 'advice' and she gave him a lesson about getting 'dirty' in his fights, followed by a kiss in exchange for a date. xD I LOVE that scene. One of my favorite kisses in the series (But the Konosetsu pactio beats it by a mile and a half). Dang, there are a lot of Negi couples that I adore. Negi and Chisame, Negi and Yue, and ESPECIALLY Negi and Chachamaru. That one's just darn cute.
Asuna learning she was Takahata's buddy, AND possibly being around 25 years old? Ahaha, that gives their relationship just a tiny bit of potential.

And her cute side is nervous and unsure. I love them both so much. ;w; The thing the two have in common, though, is their devotion to Konoka. The side that protects her and the side that loves her unconditionally... She is an extremely awesome character.
I don't know if Akamatsu would.. but.. he.. must. D: That would be beyond a dream for any Konosetsu fans. But I mean at first the pactio was a dream beyond dreams, with tongue? I mean, that might foreshadow future big surprises! So we can't let our hopes for something big like that get too low. Like we've said before, Akamatsu is full of surprises. That's one thing that makes Negima so attractive. Ken Akamatsu himself even said something about how he surprised himself by not making nerd/loser character (his previous protagonists, Keitaro from Love Hina and Hitoshi from Ai Ga Tomaranai are waaaaaay loser-like). Though I appreciate loser characters like Keitaro, Negi was quite a relief from his previous projects...
And I think Thunder God sounds awesome, but he needs something a little more Negi-like. xD He'll get a nickname eventually and be a legend in the magical world. :3

Though it didn't phase her to be naked and bathing in front of Negi that one time in her new body (she was confused as to why she should get dressed xD). A Chachamaru/Negi contract would be flippin' sweet. x3 The way she imagined it in the last chapter, the deep kiss, was cute, but I'd rather it be in her older body for some reason. I guess I just like her older body better as a whole.

I rewatched this part and I'm Almost sure that those two girls are Konoka and Setsuna, while I regret that Konoka is not cuddling Setsuna it's a rather nice situation ^^ Well the very fact that they sleep in the same room, not to mention the same futon can be accounted as a Big Success considering Setsuna's shyness.

Certainly, before the Pactio I was dancing around the idea that Konoka might one day get fed up with dropping subtextes and suggestions to Setsuna who would be to shy to do anything and she'd engage a more... direct approach, but it seems that Konoka's current strategy is working quite nicely. Though still I wouldn't mind Konoka landing a fondle or two on unsuspecting Setsuna it would be actually a next-level kind of suggestion ^^ Mhm I remember a similar situation but considering two twin sisters, at first glance it appeared that a bad-mouthed, short-tempered and overally unpleasant twin girl was the dominant one, but it quickly turned out that the nice, calm and sweet sister simply didn't exercised her power, if she wanted to she could bring her bad-mouthed sister to tears in a matter of minutes and that "Bad" sister would do anything the "Good" sister would ask her to. Oh don't think that the Good sister was evil or sadistic, the Bad sister was simply stubborn and it took a good blow to the head to bring her to her senses. There is a saying in my country "Cicha woda brzegi rwie" which would translate as... mhm "Calm water destroys the coasts. It means that a calm, good nice and sweet person can turn out to be completely different, it's a variation of "Don't judge book by it's cover". Anyway I really love the way Setsuna is, proud, powerful, cold and sharp (now she mellowed down but in the past...) and yet she turns into a bubbling shy girl in front of her love, she is really cute that way ^^ In overall Setsuna is a wonderful character, on one hand she be Extremely badass (like wearing suit in Ostia, I just loved her in that suit, she looked extremely cool, or when that Monkey-onee-san said she will control Konoka with drugs and spells, hehehe the face Setsuna made back then had "You are screwed now" written all over it... or when she grabbed Negi's... accessories, she had a terrifying but extremely cool face back then. On the other hand she can be extremely cute, not only when she is shy but also when Konoka forces her into casual, cute clothes ^^
I wonder if Akamatsu-sensei will ever include sex into his manga, I don't mean Showing it, but the very fact that it exists. I'd sell half my soul to the devil (and later beat it out of him) to see Setsuna and Konoka's expressions after spending some "quality time" at night, they would be probably much closer and intimate with each from that moment on.
[Chuckles] Yeah, if the mood would be really nice and Setsuna would start to move away BANG, Setsuna falls over on the and ends up with Konoka leaning over her, restraining her wrists with her hands, slowly descending for a deep kiss.
Mhm yes I'd really love to see Konoka comforting Setsuna, up until now it was Set-chan protecting Konoka, it would be nice if they reversed their roles if only for a brief moment and only psychologically. Setsuna had a rather unpleasant life and probably hide a lot of anguish, self-hatred and unhappiness inside her heart, it would be beautiful if she'd learn that she can always count on Konoka who would listen to her problems and help her. She wouldn't be alone anymore. Also Evangeline said once that she is an albino, I'd love to see Set-chan with white hair and both Konoka and Asuna would be probably ecstatic "An Angel!!!" "O...Ojou-sama, such words... for me..."
Well Negi is a rare example of a non-Idiot Hero as a Shounen Protagonist, I may be wrong but majority of the shounen protagonists are Either idiots or of average intelligence, while Negi is a very clever fellow. I even read once on tvropes.org that "Negi is intelligent, intelligent enough to have doubts and hesitate", that's what I like about him he is so... uncommon, so original. He hesitates, asks questions about morality, worries, blames himself, he choose dark on his own , he also seem to grow into a good leader (the pose he had when he proclaimed that they will rescue their comrades from Fate and go home in the recent chapters... awesome) But... well if he Really is a prince, a charisma and leadership skills are something he Must have. Heh knowing Akamatsu the situation will get really complicated ... I mean more complicated than it is now XD He gave me a lot of headaches when I was reading Love Hina, he can really mess with his readers' minds.
Well at least you wouldn't live long enough to be afraid of being struck by the Thunder God... now that I think of it... isn't it Negi's first nickname ?? I was really looking forward to him earning one, considering the number of nicknames his masters (Eva and Rakan) have, not to mention his father "Thousand Master", he really needs a proper nickname. Thunder God is quite neat.

I'm kinda afraid of her reaction when she'll remember the whole Triangle thing. Nodoka may end up having to slap some sense into her again. Argh things are getting Really complicated, I wonder if Ala Alba will be even Able to come back home. And if they do... I wonder what will happen to Great Paru-sama aka Haruna's airship. Bad Attitude ?? To say that Eva has a bad attitude is like to say that "It's a bit windy" DURING A HURRICANE. But yeah Eva is awesome in many ways, I love it when she's wearing glasses, they really add to her maturity and seriousness, her "Villain Modes" are also awesome, And you rarely see a ten-year old delivering the speech about "Living and being evil". The kiss she stole from Negi (more like raped it out of his lips XD) was really quite something, but the scene in the bathroom... ultimate Fetishfuel. I want to see more of Adult Eva XD Mhm I truly enjoy scary and pissed off expressions from Eva, she looks really badass AND cute then, especially when it's Colonel Chicken pissing her off XD
There's always the option of Mage of the Beginning not being dead, Fate being much more powerful than we think OR there is a new Big Bad... who knows maybe even Eva will turn out to be the Big Bad XD Naaah just joking, though it would work, she'd take control over Negi and turn him into vampire and the rest of the party would have to defeat her and Negi XD

And one of the first things Asuna would say to Takamichi would be probably "Stop Smoking", I'm Almost sure that Asuna won't revert to her emotionless state from when she was a princess, considering the fact that Both of them are going to be showed around by Chao in, what will probably be a Labirynth of Memories, they will probably merge and create something in between lively Asuna and Apathetic Asuna.

[chuckles] Well I started reading Negima like... a month ago but I really couldn't wait for their kiss [sigh] It's such a shame that Asuna interrupted the first attempt, not to mention they Both wanted it (but Setsuna was too embarrassed to do it) to be honest I'm a support of the theory that Konoka is Way smarter than we give her credit for and she was dropping hints to Setsuna all this time, that she'd really love to share a kiss and a relationship.

I've been reading the manga for a year now after getting hooked on negima! and negima!? almost solely because of konosetsu. I just kept waiting and hoping for the pactio and for the pairing to become canon. Honestly, no characters with that much chemistry have any business not being a couple. I agree with you completely that Konoka is one smart cookie and possibly (knowing how she is with, as Rakan put it, 'the pervy stuff'

Well I got hooked up thanks to a friend AND the fact that I really liked Love Hina. It really surprised me how Negima quickly turned from "Your ordinary harem" into a shounen with a bunch of cool female fighters. Setsuna and Konoka are actually one of my fav characters (Konoka because she is sweet, smart (I was laughing my butt off at the way she owned Anya with the "phone to Nekane-onee-san") and cool and Setsuna because she can be both badass and cute, I loved the expression she made when that Charm-user-nee-san said that she will control Konoka with drugs and spells, when you see an expression like this you start RUNNING. Not to mention that she looks utterly awesome in that suit she donned during negotiations with Fate. Konoka on the other hand seems to have been born to wear nekomimi.
Certainly there is so much emotion between those two that I'm shocked they are not going out yet, if I remember correctly Setsuna absolutely rejected the idea that their visit to that Costume Town during School Trip was a date... but everyone else saw it as a date XD Ach I dream about a scene where Konoka sits in Setsuna's embrace and is being covered and warmed up by Setsuna's wings.
Yeah I have to admit that Setsuna would probably freak out if Konoka tried something... radical, though Kono-chan might just loose patience one day and take Set-chan, I wonder how would Kono-chan do it, forcefully or maybe delicately... delicately probably. Though she Could use handcuffs so Set-chan wouldn't ran away XD The way Konoka held Setsuna's neck during the kiss, as if not letting her escape is rather suggestive, Konoka is not only smart and cute but also a bit dominative.

No worries, long responses are beautiful things lol. I agree with you on all points, especially with how Setsuna rocks the suit. Also, she has the BEST freak outs (no wonder Konoka loves to tease her. I think Konoka just needs to utilize the technique for boiling frogs to get her Set-chan to come around. Just slowly keep turning up the heat so Setsuna doesn't try to jump out of the pot. Moments like that of the confessional can't hurt either, anything to help Setsuna feel more comfortable with the idea and her own feelings. Not gonna lie, when I saw the pactio I lept from my desk, ran downstairs, shouted "IT FINALLY HAPPENED!!! KONOSETSU LIIIIIIIVES!", and proceeded to dash back up to my room, much to the confusion of my poor family members.

It's such a shame that that Stalker-swordwoman destroyed Setsuna's suit... but at least now we can see her in casual clothes ^^ Yeaah Setsuna is extremely cute when she freaks out. Well Konoka likes to tease a lot of people, like with Asuna and those ways of ensuring Takahata-sensei's love for her.
Btw. how do you think is Asuna really related to Negi and they won't be able to pursue their romantic relationship ?? Though I think that Akamatsu hinted it a lot of times by showing how Asuna treats Negi more like a younger brother than a boy, I really love her freak outs over Negi's recklessness. Also... Setsuna mentioned that Asuna looks as if she was remembering skills she had in the past... how do you think will Asuna get a huge power-up after regaining her pre-Mahora memories ??
Ah yes yes, she will slowly increase the level of "naughtiness" allowing Setsuna to get used to it, and before we notice we will see them cuddling each other while sleeping in one futon.
Yeah may heavens bless Misora for what she did for Setsuna, I was really happy when Setsuna dropped that emotionless-bodyguard mask of hers and started to spend time with Konoka, this kind of behaviour was hurting both of them. Btw. I remember that the nodachi Setsuna is using is the same Eishuun was using, did he lent it to her or maybe he trained her personally in the way of the sword ??
Cause normal people don't understand us... and it will be better if it stays that way or else they'll occupy our PCs XD

Konoka's habit of teasing people is definitely part of her charm lol. I'm still unsure exactly how Asuna is related to Negi, but I'm banking on her being Arika's half sister. No matter how she's related, I don't think it'll REALLY change the dynamics of their (in my opinion brother/sister) relationship, but it'll cut down on the teasing and insinuations. Here's hoping that the return of her memories brings Asuna (more) strength and doesn't sap her of her happiness. I'm a little worried that she might remember having some ' purpose' that puts her temporarily on Fate's side. After all, he must have some reason to believe she won't turn her new found power against him. That's still a little of a long shot granted, but it's a possibility. Unlike with finding out that Negi and Asuna are related, I think that Asuna regaining her memories will alter her relationship, not only with Negi, but everyone else as well. I think she'll have to do some real sole searching and probably have quite the identity crisis on her hands for a bit. That's an excellent question and I do so love the possibility of Eishuun passing Yuunagi on to Setsuna so she can protect his little girl. It'd put Setsuna in the position of having a really good relationship with Eishuun which would cut down on any stigmas that might arise with the idea of Konoka and Setsuna being together.

Well the brother/sister part will either remain the same or will get strengthened, I actually really like the way they interact, Negi have someone who worries about him and protects him and it's someone related to him at it (though we still don't know for sure if Negi is Arica and Nagi's son he can be aged-down amnesiac Nagi himself XD Btw. I made up a small theory conserning Negi and Konoka. You see Eishuun and Nagi were friends, right ?? Rather close ones as everyone in Ala Rubra, then they got themselves kids, isn't it that (thanks to the friendship between their fathers) Negi and Konoka are the closest thing to brother and sister without being related by blood ??
I really doubt if she'll be as happy as in now, there'll be probably a lot of unhappy and depressing memories (Vandenburg's death, or the fact that it's most likely Asuna's "fault" that Ostia was destroyed) she will probably experience some kind of depression or something. If she turns to Fate's side it might be because of her feeling of guilt but the idea of Asuna being on Fate's side [shivers] not a very nice thing to imagine. Or perhaps he will convince the then shocked Asuna that he is doing The Right thing and she will side with him ??

Alright, so first off I'm soooo sorry for the lengthy wait on my response, I've been in Europe and largely away from the internet. As per usual, I agree with you on all points. Something else I've been noticing (and loving) is the constant comparisons of Eishuune and Setsuna. To me this is major foreshadowing for Konoka and Setsuna. Seeing as Eishuune is Konoemon's son-in-law and a Shinmeiryuu swordsman, it stands to reason that he could have been Konoka's mother's bodyguard as Setsuna is Konoka's bodyguard now. It'd be great if that was brought to Setsuna's attention. The Ala Alba are going to get craaaazy powerful, seeing as how mighty they are now at their young age.

And they FINALLY scanlated the new chapter... two damn days... it took them two damn days... but I'm happy, the Pactio scene looked more or less like Konoka's confessing to Setsuna. She wanted her as her partner on the way to Magister Magi, and as Negi (probably) said it's quite popular for Magisters and their partners to marry.
