Thanks most kindly!Β Sometimes I think I should give up the furry thing and just paint landscapes for tourists.Β But that probably won't happen

I know that feeling, but your doing so well with the story you got going, been going for a fair while.

Oh! really great! Very natural, and I already saw myself among the clouds in a heavenly boat!

That's wonderful to hear!Β I have also imagined what it would be like to do something like that Β Thank you!

Thank you very much!Β I spent a number of summer vacations on my aunt and uncle's farm and there was something about the views there that really grabbed meΒ

Absolutely beautiful!
I can feel the wind coming from the cloudy area, the thrilling tension of a coming thunderstorm.

Thank you!Β I used to love watching the storms approach and guessing how much time I had left before I had to run inside!Β

Terrific painting!Β This is Academy grade work, very nice.Β See what I mean about looking like N.C. Wyeth?Β Such detail for so small a painting.Β Just excellent!

Thank you!Β I must admit that I was inspired by your earlier comments and the Wyeth painting of the giant -- I wanted to push myself harder this time to see if I could get a little closer...

You are really a talented artist.Β No wonder your deer people drawings look so good!Β This puts you in the top tier of furry art, skill wise.Β You take porn and high school humor away and the furry crowd is not quite so large, maybe they need some more acrylic on wood to wake them up!Β Time for a anthro deer portrait, done like Wyeth.Β Or better yet, -

I really appreciate your good words -- Thank you.Β A small crowd that is actually looking at my stuff and finding something good in it is all I could ask for.
That's another great image -- I don't know how Wyeth gets such sculptural effects without losing the bright color.Β It looks like he might actually be painting on a black ground here, but again, I don't know how he does it.Β Whenever I've tried something like that, my paintings just look dirty.Β
It won't stop me from trying again, however Β Thanks again!

nice job on the clouds. I can feel the flatness of the midwest. A thunder storm arises. . .

Thanks most kindly -- I've always had a certain fondness for that part of the world.Β People dismiss it all as "the flyover states," but there's a lot of good stuff there if one will take the time to look

True.Β Northern Indiana was scoured by glaciers thousands of years ago -- all the hills got flattened out!Β
