Autumn Blaze is the Phantom of the Kirin Opera! Or at least, she's playing the role of the titular character for the Kirins' play. Ever since the Kirin regained their voices and emotions, they were able to enjoy the plays that Autumn provided before then. Years later, the Kirin learn about the different holidays ponies celebrate, including Nightmare Night. So, Autumn decided to dress up as that Kirin who hid below an opera stage, wearing that "freaky half-mask thing, playing a pipe organ, and being all broody and pining for an opera singer. After all, she is a really fantastic singer. She even decided to bring the musical theater to Equestria, so that ponies and non-pony creatures alike could enjoy a musical that is both romantic and horror-themed, perfect for Nightmare Night.

This idea came up several days before Halloween. However, even after I made Autumn's Phantom costume, I knew I wouldn't be able to post it by then, especially since the background would be time consuming. So, all I could do for the time being was to have Autumn appear in my Halloween/Nightmare Night pic as a cameo sneak preview, while her actual picture would be part of the Post-Halloween/Nightmare Night art wave.

Working on Autumn's costume was pretty easy and quick. It only took like 30 minutes or so. The background, now that's a different story. I suck at making MLP backgrounds. I can't even include the textures. So, forgive me if it looks subpar. It was the best I could do. This might've been late for Nightmare Night, but I wanted to get this posted right away, and I'm sure all of you will enjoy this.

Another Post-Halloween/Nightmare Night project is coming up. I haven't decided if this will be my last for the year, or if there will be another one. But I will say this, this next one will bring back the terrible, great beast that is "not what it seems", and only its defeat can revive a princess.
