Day 14- YokaiThere are so many different yokai in Japanese folklore that I had a hard time choosing one. But I kept coming back to Tsukumogami and specifically the Karakasa-obake (umbrella ghost)The stories say that after about a century of existence, inanimate objects gain sentience and cause mischief. Not the most dangerous or powerful yokai…but I think they’re neat.
