i used to have 7 fishes (family of the goldfish but only more beuatifuller, i only forgot the name) and one of them looked exactly like this one, his name was Wirdo, he wasn't really healthy, so he only lived for 3 months, but i liked him more then all the other ones i used to have. Definetely a fav in honour for Wirdo!

Goldfish make me so incredibly happy.
Very nicely done. As most people have already mentioned, it looks like a photograph. I love the unique composition: how you show both the water line and the tank bottom. The bubbles are gorgeous and their off centered placement is adorable. The way the light glances off the goldfish's scales is beautifully realistic too.

Thanks everyone for all the comments... For those who asked about the media, its done in pencil crayon, marker and some acrylic washes in the background. Its on a coloured paper 12x 18. I'm glad you all enjoy it so much!

Reminds me of Commett. My pet goldfish who died last year.
He lived in a 10 gallon fish tank
He used to nibble on a fake plant
It was so cute
Now ALL I have of him is a video taken 3 weeks after i got him .
He is burried in my backyard (in a velvet jelary box that i got from my sister.

I had him 4 5month but he was 3 when i got him. (it was a feeder fish but I kept it as a pet.)
