Woah! I honestly thought that this was a photograph when I saw the preview (and even when I actually clicked on the image!).
I swear I did a double-take when I read the artists comment!
Brilliant work - especially the range and contrast in colour. All the lines seem very crisp and sharp - something which I can only seem to vaguely achieve when painting from still-life (digitally or other-wise!).
Absolutely fantastic!
