Sheer genius! I love everything about this!! Crazy high-tech space pirates with dark gothic architecture and green-glowing monitors; what's not to love?? I like how the skulls are built into everything. He's surrounded by all this tech but still following an old school paper map; makes it more interesting. I like the witch doctor in the back with the telescope.

You realy captured the 'Dark Millenium' feel that 40k has always held with a sprit of adventure, it reind me of the original concept for Rouge Trader which turned 40K into a sort of Role Play Game with an emphisis on chracter creation so it keeps with the general concept very nicely. This easiy warrents a Fave by it's own merits too.

Very nice! Did John Blanche ever see this? I'm not sure that he has artistic direction with the FF products at all but I think he would like this. You've pretty much nailed the 40k essence here. Perhaps a little too colourful (that's being quite picky), but still very, very good.

Seeing artwork like this makes me believe that there just has to be some gene that artists have that allow them to see the world in a different way than everyone else.
