I did actually once think of a story in which Snow White was the evil one, and used her dark magic to entice beings to do her bidding. However, the dwarfs broke the spell and turned on her... and there was a lot of Dwarfish battle axes...

I can't stop staring at this! I love the mix between realism and a more cartoonish style... I must say I would've been really insecure [SCARED AS FUCK] about trying something like that...
The composition is incredible; do you carefully plan out everything or does it just sort of... come to you? The basic shapes and areas of light/shadow I mean.
The top of the image is awesome... that's a skull right? with only the eye sockets showing... I love the little lights in the center of them, and all the little bright eyes in all of the creatures on her throne...
And the way her paleness contrasts with everything else...
Wonderful work, inspiring as fuck xD I LOVE IT!

I like this = both the atmosphere and that "I'm with Prince Charming MY ASS!" smirk on Snow White's face. I read from an Enchanted World book that her name was acually Princess Snow Drop. At least Disney was close. Heheh..suitable fate for the Dwarves; midgets' cotinue to scare people to this day, midgets with axes..job well done.
