The moment I heard about Jolabokaflod, I knew it was for me. In Iceland, books are exchanged as Christmas Eve presents, then they spend the rest of the night reading them and eating chocolate. Books and chocolate. Two of my favourite things smashed together with an adorable name! What more could I ask for?
Fun fact. "Jolabokaflod" means "Christmas book flood". Apt!
