Description
Alright I give up, I don't have the strength to work on it anymore! There are some errors in the composition but I wasn't going for the perfect comp, I was going for action and mayhem and I hope I managed to deliver that.I might update it with more stuff later.
Cheers
EDIT: Yes, there's a lot of over painted/integrated photos in this one!
EDIT 2: No I didn't use any 3D program

It looks really cool in overall, but I don't like the "big robot"'s face, It's too human.

I like how it is a giant anthropomorphic robot enemy (red eyes = bad guy, right?) against a smaller, more efficient and numerous force. I hear Incubus' "Megalomaniac" when I look at it.
Also, was there some Darth Vader influence on the big guy?

It's a killer piece. Mayhem, check. Action, check. It has it all, and, insane robo's! You have skills that are enviable and inspiring, well done.

I think the detail is insane. I love the texture... it makes the scene 100% believable. I don't care if you used any photos... cause you still had to integrate them into this situation in a way that works. Not to mention the atmospheric perspective, depth of field & heat blurs, etc. Crazy. Nice work!

Incredible work. I do have one thing to say but it's merely my opinion; I preferred the non-faced version of the large robot. It sort of gave it a more frightening look.

It's amazing. You should be satisfied with the result man. Are parts of the image from photos? I think it's almost as awesome as Adonihs piece. Maybe not so much detailed but therefore a great composition and high realism.

Amazing.... great detail. I love the small things like the red light and the "no walk" signal. They really add flavour to the complete destruction and adversarial feel. Well done. But really, who expects anything less from you?

All the integrated pics make for a great scene. Screw the comp, this is very nice. The sketches peaked my interest and you did not dissappoint. The materials are very tangible. Inspiration blossoms somewhere in the dark parts of my brain. Looking forward to your next piece.

This is one of those pieces that whether you're 5 or 55, you just stare at in amazement and say "Whoa cool". Excellent concept, composition, point of view and depth of field really add a level of realism, and the attention to detail takes this even a step further. Yet the scene itself is something straight out of some great summer movie blockbuster, completely epic and full of action and suspense.
This piece simply rocks in every way man, very cool. Simply awe inspiring stunning work

Sick, dude. Just sick.
Depth of field + texture + colour blending
It looks so real, 3D, rendered ...
And those high-res explosions!
It's sick

You really nailed every aspect of realism: motion, material, lighting... Is it all just 2d painted from scratch or have you also done 3d models and/or used stock images? I find the robots and cars esp. great.
