I think that in the future we will construct them in orbiting space stations, mainly because it would be to heavy to launch from the planet surface

...I love this picture. I'm currently working on a four book military sci-fi series, and I keep finding myself returning to this image for inspiration. Okay, so it doesn't actually look anything like my starships--wrong hull material, wrong configuration--but...it works. It really works for me. This is a starship in a docking hangar.

Life in the private sector is more exciting, but I have to admit, sometimes I do miss having the facilities of the big boys. Plus I don't get nearly as many opportunities to annoy my co-workers while in drydock.

I am currently working on a slideshow/video and it will contain many different pictures. Now i have found some images on your site more specific here: that I found very nice and fiting to the content of my video.
