Well its been a hot minute since my last upload... But lets get to the pitch.
In light of Doyle Mc Cormack's Alco PA going to the Geneses Valley Railroad, and the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society recently repainting Nickel Plate Road 358, I thought up an interesting photo charter idea.
the FWRHS brings 765, 358, and some (yet to be restored) freight and passenger cars to the Delaware Lackawanna railroad to meet up with 190 and Steamtown's 514 and their collection of freight and passenger cars to create a once in a life time recreation of NKP 1950s operations. 765 and the two freight diesels take turns on the freight runs with 190 doing photo run byes and providing transportation for those taking part in the charter. The day ends with a night photo session at the Steamtown roundhouse with 759 also taking part.
Yeah this idea is more than a little foamy, but I know that this could be one of the biggest railfan events in the Northeast.
