ill have to say i prefer the before. Joke is kind of lost in the newer one and the head looks a bit awkward. Not saying your new one is bad, just that the before and after are too different to effectively compare.

I actually really like the before more! It has good use of negative space and good stylized gesture. The newer one, while very well rendered, looks crowded and stiff in comparison.
