I walked to the mountains.
My friends were waiting, watching
To see if I had come by that day.
One by one they came into view.
The cloud worms they called them.
Some believed they were gentle spirits
While others thought of them as mobsters,
Horrible creatures of lore that should be exterminated.
I thought of them as my friends.
I rode on their backs sun up to sun down and when it was finally time to go home, I would say goodbye and walk down the mountain again.
I loved seeing them...
How they played with me...
How they majestically wiggled in the sky.
I'll miss them as I move away.
I will never forget them though.
This rather strange friendship...

I absolutely adore the fantastical and mind-boggling aspects of this piece. Is this a fuzzy cloud worm, or the rare Alaskan *Furred* Bull Worm? Are they friendly beasts or terror-inducing creatures? The world may never know....
