Description
After an exploration goes horribly wrong, Amy the Explorer finds herself lost in one of the most remote Jungles in all the world, as she hunts unsuccessfully for nourishment after her food supply runs out. Now starving and with no other option, she must decided if she's really gonna go 'insectivorous' to survive and feast on the local buglife to live. It was a line she said she'd never cross under any circumstances, but as hunger hits hard, she's forces herself down into the dirt and brings a fat squirming Witchetty Grub up to her mouth...

This is my first faux Cover done in Clip Studio. I decided to do one aged, and one modern to see what they'd look like. It was great to do new little things I hadn't done before like work some halftones in there.

My hope is that the colours really help get over the look and feel of the jungle surrounding her. I did do a lot of google searches on Tropical Rainforest to try and get them just right. I also wanted the bugs to really come across as gross.

I should say a massive thank you to Amy Crosby for taking time out to do this new pin-up and helping make this happen during what has been a stressful year for all. It was great fun to return to the character of Explorer Amy and her misadventure out in the wild after her first pin-up in 'Silences By Silk '. Plus it should be said, finding time to model during a pandemic is differently above-and-beyond the call of duty and very appreciated.

Again, it was great to go back and do something done as an old style Jungle comic. It's differently a subject I'd like to return to again at some point.
