Ginkorn is the first evolution of Fernike. They are generally solitary pokémon with an hostile temper. They have a strong beak which allows them to feed on very leathery plants, indigestible to other pokémon. The large leaf on the head allows Ginkorn to synthesize energy directly from the sun through photosynthesis, useful for supplementing its nutrient-poor diet.
