I imagine Minty being rebellious. My rationale is that she's green and green tends to be a more unique color for ponies. Foolproof, no?
Butterscotch enjoys intellectual things but has a hands on approach rather than a bookish one. Though she probably still enjoys a trip to the library.
Blossom is kinda like the highstrung leader. She is reliable when you want her, but overbearing when you don't.
Of course Blue Belle is the southern bell of the group. Enjoys the 'finer' things in life.
Snuzzle is that girl at the back of class that doesn't speak much but has a huge imagination which she uses when writing.
Cotton Candy would be a stereotypical cheerleader(not the snotty kind archtype) if she wasn't so clumsy. I kinda always pegged her as a Pinkie Pie type of character, before there even was Pinkie Pie.
