"Burning Palm"

This little stretch of beach is one of my all time favorite spots due to the surroundings and generally there's not a lot of people. I actually had a different composition in mind during this shoot and then the sky lit up in a different direction, so I quickly had to improvise. One challenging thing about shooting sunsets in Hawaii is how quickly the sky erupts and how quickly it goes away so when it's time, you'd better have a composition in mind!
