I keep hearing that Hewlett thing from people... and it's totally flattering but out of all the artists I aspire to he's the one I've least tried to immitate. Maybe i'm just sub-conciously channeling Gorillaz? haha
Usually these flyers take me about 2 days at the most but this one just clicked really easily. I had a strong image in my head, the sketch worked pretty much first time. Only problem I had was with the bg but after a few hours sleep I came back and fixed it.

I know what you're saying about being the best, Marvel-class, all that, but I can honestly say I can look at this entire site and not find another artist that rocks it in the style you do. I could pick your work out instantaneously out of 1,000 artists. That's extremely valuable right there. You always got the ill dynamic composition going on, and great atmosphere. I don't know man, there's plenty of artists out there that are super-great and skilled, but only a handfull that have a deep personality to their work. Just saying... Not trying to blow smoke up your ass or anything.

I like this very much. I like the rain on the cap, the puddle covering the ground, the angle's sweet and I could see the pendant was a Spraycan, but now I can see what others thought it might be, being pink and all. Good colour choices too. Veeeery nice.
