The 'Concept of Shiva' has been depicted and redepicted in different forms from times immemorial. One that comes close is the 'Nataraja' statue that expresses Shiva as a cosmic being, which was sculpted by artists in around 1000 A.D. I believe that as modern science progresses the image of Shiva needs to be redone by artist as per their understanding of the cosmic nature of the universe. As a devotee of Shiva, I am lucky to see this artistic expression of Shiva from a modern perspective and in a way you are an artistic-decedent of my ancestors. Good luck in your future endeavors.
