Mason Cutler, also known as the Raptor, is a hired mercenary that was supposed to make a hit on Doc. Connors/The Lizard, but things got scaly and Cutler was injured in their fighting...a Viscious scratch to the chest. Except for the next day the deep wound had completely healed, taking little notice to it and staying focused in his rage and denial he wanted to get back on Spider-Mimic, the one who ruined his chances of becoming a well known Mercenary, and what would be a better hit then the famed superhero herself? As days went by Cutler noticed the development of scales on his body, in horror he tried peeling them off but no matter how many scales he pulled off, more would grow, so he tried covering himself up completely, dubbing the name Raptor for his superior marksman skills and takedown work. Eventually the Lizards scratch fully transformed him into a giant lizard man...He is fully in control of himself but enjoys his new found abbilities.
