I believe this was one of the last pieces that I did where I sketched it in pencil and scanned it in and then penned it and colored it. (These days, it's all about the tablet, bb.
) My original intention for this piece was to be part of a website--and for a while it was--but I ultimately felt it took away from the designs that I was trying to feature on the site. Still one of my favorites. It's also one of the first times that I played with lighting from below and I really like the way that turned out. Made with pencil, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop. I think. It's been a while.
