A little bit of obscure fanart, but I have been doing some more fanart again, lately.
This piece is inspired by the short Russian Animation "A mother for a little mammoth,"

The story is basically about a baby mammoth who thawed from an iceburg after a very very long time. After... hibernation (or whatever you want to call it) he begins to look for his mother (obviously long extinct). But the other local artic animals who finds him decides to try to help him find a mother for him (knowing that elephants have his similar qualities). Eventually with help from a hippo and a monkey, he is "united" with a female elephant to be his mom. (Actually he THINKS it IS his mom, it really isn't.)

It's kind of sad if you think about it, but I just love the way this short portrays deeper things like adoption and (like a mammoth and an elephant) one doesn't HAVE TO look/be the same to be family. And when life gives you a hairy baby, understand... now you have a hairy baby, so what? That's not a problem! XD .......

"He's so hairy...!"
"So what?! Look, he has a nose and ears, just like yours."
