Description
This is a Dragoon Principles They are the second level of Infantry dragoons. They are above Velites and below Centurions. They wield a heavy spear and a backup sword in case their spear breaks. They wear heavier steel plate armor and chain mail for added protection.

Principles come from veteran Velites or from high class families who can afford Arcadian soldier training. They are the Backbone shock troops. They are relied on to deliver the devastating final blow to a weaken enemy formation. Or they are relied on to turn the tied of battle. Their formation position is right behind the Velites. If they cannot break or route a enemy army then their is only one tier higher that could get the job done. This last Tier is the Centurions.
