had to rush the shading VERY much so its not as good as i hoped, and its not entirely accurate in its proportions either, couple of mm out in some places oh well onto the next one, got 5 left before next wednesday.cheers Andy

these pictures of children you are doing are wonderful, they are so alive. Your shading is spot on, even if it isn't as polished as you'd like to do them, I think they're perfect pieces.

I think it is amazing! I find children's faces very hard to render. Because of stigmatism I tend to make portraits lopsided unless I use the grid method of drawing. A few mm here or there doesn't/hasn't changed the joy involved with the child.
I still haven't tried a portrait of a child under the age of 12 yet. So I find yours very compelling.

This is gorgeous! It may not look "perfect" to you, but no one else would ever see the mistakes you think you've made. Its beautiful work! You did excellent on the mouth and teeth, most people seem to have a hard time making them look realistic.

Andy you did a great job on this - and I don't mind that you used my photo to pratice drawing from but you can't offer it as a print sale and make money on it. It is a copyright protected image. And my daughter to boot. So you don't have to model release either.
