pretty sweet, im just wondering why you went with epiphone? the gibson sg epitimizes quality when it comes to guitars.. the strings do annoy my a little, and maybe from fret board dots?
all and all this is bad ass...
perspective seems a lil tweaked but i dont mind, and i love the render, colors look great...

Very interesting.
Probably the main gripes with it is the string spacing doesnt stay consistant towards the head of the guitar. Also the neck seems somewhat square.
Other then that, great job!
But, how come you have wrapped the strings around the tuners?

a very curvaceous version, as opposed to the classic style semipoints

Body is far too glossy.
Strings are VERY badly placed at the fretboard start.
Strings are far too thick and lack texture.
Seems to be a shading error on the scratchplate (scratchplates are flat, not indented, which is what it looks like.)
Strings have a highly unrealistic "natural bend" at the top, and also shouldn't be wrapped around the tuning pegs (unless yu0 si t3h n0b0z.)
Pickup covers seem to be part of the scratchplate.
Other than those niggling errors, a good attempt. In my honest opinion, not worthy of DD, but a cleaned up version definitely.

Looks great! But I think your material for the guard plate [dont know what its called] needs some tweaking. It almost looks like its glowing. Your strings look a lot like those licorice twizzlers. Perhaps a different material for those? Pretty friggin awesome render though. What was the render time and poly count on this piece? It looks like you got hella poly's, even for the tuning pegs. Perfect chrome and paint material. I'd give it 8/10!

My brother has about the same ephiphone guitar, only he has the union jack on it, I love the strings they look very realistic as well as the rest of the guitar. Awesome job, DD worthy, keep up the nice work
