neat, some people think that the missing shadow is disturbing, but i am gladit isnt there, it gives the whole thing a more surreal touch.

Again, some critism; The checkers on the ground don't really feel good, I don't know what it is exactly, but I think it's maybe a bit too classic? Have you tried to let the checkers also go to the center of the image? (that would make it less realistic and everyone would be forced to look in the middle...)
