I made up this AU where during Catnap's death, instead of Angelcat sitting back in horror and watched Catnap dieShe jumps into action and blocks the Prototype from Catnap while she was hissing and lashing at it, doing as much as she could to keep the Prototype away.
Spoiler alert:
Catnap survives and the Prototype flees
And Angelcat is still alive, the Prototype didn't kill her because she isn't dying.
