She's wearing a magnifying glass?! Well, that's deffinently it then. Haha, I thought it was the visor of the helmet/hat she's wearing. Although, that is a strange fashion to be wearing magnifying glasses *snicker*, 
I can't imagine having my glasses being strong magnifying glasses. I'd probably burn a hole in my eye when I went out into the sun.
