Description
I created Velvet when I was 15, and has gone through various redesigns. Some minor, some major. Just kind of depended on what I felt I wanted to do with her at the moment. I never followed a model sheet or set guide or anything; I just had a vague idea in my head as what she was to look like at the time, and winged it every time.

As of attempting to draw her in 2023, now that I have a lot of new knowledge and techniques when it comes to drawing, I've realized that I'm not capable of doing that anymore without noticing inconsistencies. Not only that, but a lot of her features are just downright dated. To fix that, I'm doing one last redesign of her, using all the techniques I'd use to design a character nowadays. I feel it worked out, but I won't really know how well it works until I do a character turnaround and some pose sketches.
