Where's your stand on guns today? The shootings, the control, the NRA. Many are asking what they should do. What facts are real, and what facts aren't true? There's politics, charts, rating and tests, but none of these are certain, and none say what's best. It's hard to decide when you're pushed all the time, where you can take a life, or put your own on the line. Who's to say this person's worth more than the other? Everyone's family; mothers, fathers, sisters, and brothers. Can you stare them in the eyes, and then take aim? Ignoring the fact that these are people and they all have names? Worry only seems to rise when incidents are shown, but the fact is, not all are known. History repeats itself, so says the school shooting in 1999. People forget that gun related deaths occur all the time. Massacres, accidents, fights and suicide. These are enough reason to make many run and hide. Only when the public cries out does Congress do a thing, but it isn't enough, because killings are still happening. What's worse is that attempts such as the Brady Gun Act don't last long. Even the government isn't sure what's right and wrong. However one strong voice is the National Rifle Association, who rant and rave for all the gun owners in our nation. Yet have little respect for guns trouble and harm. With the US leading with the highest gun related deaths on the planet, you'd think we would have enough experience to handle it. Yet in stead of learning from our flaws we tend to expand, taking our troubles to war in other lands. When people are certain about what they want they are determined to fight... But how do we know that owning guns are right? Our Constitution claims that we can, but we shouldn't forget that this Constitution wasn't written by any God, it was written by man. So under that how do we truly agree, that when we take measures to protect, that it includes killing? Police officers deal with this matter constantly; whether it's right to shoot a criminal down, or treat him equally. It's not required that we make a point or have a strong voice, but what is, is that we make a decision, because we do have a choice.
