Adorable NPC from our Lancer game.

The players were fighting space pirates, and were able to track them down to their home base. They were not expecting to find the pirate non-combatant population living in squalor on a derelict archology. Largely, the population was malnourished, sick, and injured.
Bug was the Pirate Elders translator. While he might be small, and sickly, Bug is gifted with languages. The plot thickens when it's reviled that one of the players had killed his father in combat. By their laws, the responsibility of the child goes to that player. So for now Bug has joined the crew of the Jackrabbit.
He had some issues though and the diagnosis from the autodoc follows:
-Thyroid cancer, stage 4
-Tumor in Thyroid (4cm in diameter)
-Anemia, and Low Blood Platelet Count.
-Delayed Maturation due to poor nutrition.
-Right arm severed at shoulder, and malformed right shoulder blade.
-Left leg severed 2cm below the joint, and kneecap is shattered, but partially healed.
-Stomach ulcers as a result of poor nutrition.

Recommended Treatment:
-Thyroidectomy.
-Full blood transfusion.
-Anti-cancer nanites treatment (25cc treatment every 8 hours for the next month).
-Implantation of SSC Biometric Thyroid gland.
-Replacement of right shoulder blade, and arm with prosthesis.
-Replacement of left kneecap and joint as well as prosthesis.

Long Term Treatment and care:
Patient has a chronological age of 8 but, a physical age of 5. Should begin with 6 small meals a day (100 grams each meal) with nutritional supplements. In addition patient will be perscribed anti-acid, anti-nausia, and anti-inflametries to counter the side effects of the cancer treatments.
Patient is advised to return for further blood work after 30 days.
