Nah it can ver be "to nasty", but this feels more like paint than blood. If it was meant to be blood I'd use a darker red and color burn the inside edges, but I'm pretty sure you were looking for a paint look to this. Or maybe I'm jsut talkking out of my ass, lol.

A pretty nice design... Nice use of colors. The only gripe I have is the right side looks a little empty. Besides that though, nice work.
