It's true what they say, timing is indeed everything. And I had this idea in my head since I bumped across a couple of things.

First, there was the controversy surrounding the new Looney Tunes Cartoons series on HBO Max, where no matter what Elmer Fudd uses to hunt Bugs Bunny with, he cannot have his classic shotgun.

Of course, he's not the only one known to wield a firearm. Yosemite Sam had done that quite a bit, too.

Soon after that, I bumped across an old song by Lynyrd Skynyrd, "Gimme Back My Bullets." Now, they're not a band I usually listen to, but I started putting the two things together in my head, and next thing I knew, I had these two doing a rendition of it, a message to their studio heads!

That's pretty much as far as I wanted this to go; no further political statement intended.

Upon finally creating this, I couldn't resist making a "shield guitar" for Elmer.
