Description
Those who grew up with the classic years of Sesame Street, or were introduced to that era by their families, will never forget the colorful characters, or in this case, the humans that were there for years. Sadly, two of the classic alumni had passed during the year, and with the recent news, I decided it was time to make this tribute, as well as a rather profound reflection on things as given by Ernie in this Gmod image.
Emilio Delgado, who played Luis on the show, had passed in March, age 81. Those who watched remember his Fix-It Shop days and his teaching of Spanish words, and who can forget the wedding scene with Maria?
And just moments ago, Bob McGrath, who was on the show when it premiered in 1969, left us at the age of 90. When not teaching things, he often rang out in song.
Both will be missed to no end, as they helped shape the Street to what it was in those years. Here's to both of them.
