Description

Blue's final design for the rewrites (the first volume of which is well underway!). He's 17 here whereas in the original novels he was 14, so I took care to make him look suitably mature.

I updated his outfit slightly to reflect the changes to his backstory. He's meant to look sort of like a soldier off-duty, hence the combat trousers/boots. I was going to give him a tank-top as well, but I thought that'd be a bit much.

I also tried out a new 'rough-but-not-too-messy' style for both the linework and shading, and I really like how it turned out. Considering going with this as my main style from here on in.
