See this journal for important health updates and where to continue to read the comic: Important updatesHey everyone, see below for updates about my health and the Devour comic: My Core subscription ends Aug 14th, so I can't mass upload anymore 😞 Therefore, pages will no longer be uploaded on DeviantART starting Aug 14th. You can continue to read the comic on Comicfury. I can mass upload there and the link buttons are already embedded within each comic page. Unless there's a quicker way to embed Previous/Next buttons that I'm unaware of (please share!), it takes waaayyy too long to format each page.🏥 As for my illness, WOW is it expensive to be sick 💸💸💸 Turns out I had a nasty bacterial infection and needed antibiotics (no cancer or ulcers, thank goodness). I go back in next week to see if I'm clear or need alternative medication. It's taken so long to hear about results because I went back to Panama earlier this summer for more data collection.📝 I aim to finish my doctoral degree this fall semester 🤞🏾 However, I will also be a teaching assistant, which entails prepping and leading lab discussions & grading. This all means I'm going to be super packed with work and writing starting this August. I'll mass upload on Comicfury before the semester starts (Pages 123 - 140, into January 2024) and then focus on my academic work. This semester will be very stressful so I'm going to keep page uploads at every 2 weeks on Comicfury and Patreon.I probably won't mass upload on DeviantART until after I've graduated and settled into a job. I honestly don't know when that'll be but my bet is probably not until next year. Imma miss ya'll 🥺😭Seriously, I've enjoyed everyone's comments on my pages 🥹🥰 I really wish DeviantART had better website layout for comic uploaders. Ya'll have seriously brought me joy and made me laugh 🩵🩵🩵Thanks so much for your understanding! Wish me luck as I wrap up this degree 😤~aniece.creates
