20 years ago today, a dark hedgehog was reawakened following 50 years of suspended animation. This hedgehog, created by the grandfather of a familiar, bald-headed threat to the world to be the Ultimate Life Form, quickly set his thoughts on destroying the world, fueled by what seemingly was thoughts of vengeance caused from a tragic accident in the past. Crossing paths with a speedy hedgehog like himself, it doesn't take long for the two to set a fierce rivalry, opposing each other on different occasions. Eventually, this black hedgehog remembers the true wish of the one friend he had back then, and works with his new mutual ally to save the planet.Happy birthday, Shadow the Hedgehog...
