It's been almost a year since the first piece of Current and Ripcurl was done.

I actually really love these two and I may rewrite their story slightly, mainly getting rid of the concept of them having dragonets it's unneeded. Anyways here is what I've changed;

Current and Ripcurl met at a recovery ward in the Bay of a Thousand Scales, Current suffered from brain damage caused by her 'parents', this led to Current developing a form of epilepsy, for her own safety she had been relieved of her job as a Deepsea fisher. The aquatic language caused severe headaches and stress for her leading to epileptic seizures, she's on a self care plan to reduce her stress and other harmful habits, seeing what would help reduce the pain and seizures.
Ripcurl was visiting a sibling and painting a landscape of the gardens in the ward, meeting Current there. Ripcurl is mute, to engage with Current she tries to use her glowing scale patterns but takes a quick read of Currents wristband, there's a language barrier, Ripcurl decides to write out her words, asking to add Current to her landscape piece, Current agreed starting a friendship.

Current had liked art as a dragonet, due to their interaction she picked the hobby back up, taking any chance to draw Ripcurl's facial markings, Current was brought into the Summer Palace for more freedom and had taken on a job in the art trade. Ripcurl and Current see each other again at an art auction, they buy a small piece of art from each other to remember their friendship, but they refuse to part ways after this staying together 'till death do they part'.

They later married and moved to their own island to continue their art together.
