Here's number 8 of my 13 monsters, Alice Conall the werewolf!
For as long as she could remember, Alice Conall loved animals. She was always fascinated and adored all animals, but especially dogs. It was why she became an animal’s rights activist and dedicated her life to helping animals in need. Alice spent her days taking in strays and nursing them back to health, along with protesting any companies or businesses that made profit on animal abuse. Then one night she spotted an injured dog and tried to help the poor thing, only for it to bite her and run off into the night. Alice didn’t think much of the incident at first, but as she slept, her mind would slowly be plagued with strange dreams of prowling wolves. She could see them stalking an endless forest, and no matter how hard she tried to run, they were never far behind. Soon after the dreams began, she would find gaps in her memory no matter how hard she tried recalling. Those nights were supposed to be protest nights, how could she forget. It was only when she saw the news one day that she found out: those places she was supposed to protest had been attacked. Massive claw holes in steel doors, and many people injured or worse. And the only photo they had was a blurry photo of a fur-covered beast baring its claws in the same torn orange top and red shorts Alice was wearing. It didn't take long to realize that something happened to her that night, and while she feel she may have been cursed by a werewolf… Perhaps, in her corrupted mind, she was blessed by one...
