Description Let's just put it all in the past.

As you all know, I am a big fan of The Amazing Digital Circus, and it has climbed up the ranks to become my all-time favorite animated pilot on YouTube. However, as a pilot, it could also leave some story elements open-ended. One of those elements served as the basis for this artwork.

Around the middle of the pilot, Pomni, Ragatha and Jax decide to go and ask Kaufmo, a clown resident of the Digital Circus, about the whereabouts of the exit door, but when they get there, they discover that Kaufmo has "abstracted", or has reached his breaking point and has become nothing more than a glitching monster with no hint of a conscience. During the confrontation, Kaufmo attacked Ragatha and it caused her to start glitching out, and when Pomni tried to help her, her hand became all glitchy as a result. After managing to evade Kaufmo, Pomni went back to check up on Ragatha, and suggested to her to go and find Caine so he can fix her glitching. Unfortunately, when Pomni left to go and find him, she came across an exit door and, in her desperate attempt to leave the Digital Circus, decided to go through it, essentially abandoning Ragatha. After some time, Caine drags Pomni back after inadvertently going into the Void, and after dumping Kaufmo into the cellar with all the other abstracted beings, Ragatha arrives, and Caine promptly fixed her up and Pomni's glitched hand. Despite the damage being undone, Ragatha, realizing that Pomni left her to suffer, loses her trust in her, walking up to her and turning her head away without saying anything, with Pomni too ashamed to look at her to apologize.

Personally, I thought this was one of the saddest scenes in the pilot because, right from the start, Ragatha was the most kind to Pomni, trying to keep her calm in her new situation and being her main defender against those who kept giving her trouble like Jax, and Pomni, although wanting to help Ragatha when she was pain, was ultimately driven by her desire to leave, so when she saw the exit door, it completely overruled everything else, and she ultimately abandoned the one who tried to comfort her. I hope that in a future episode, which will take place after the events of the pilot, there will be some kind of reconciliation between Pomni and Ragatha, because the bond between them feels too pure to tarnish, and Ragatha will be willing to understand why Pomni did what she did.

Now onto the artwork!

I knew that ever since I saw that moment happen, I had this idea of making a conclusion or follow up to it. Originally, I was planning on having both of the characters to have their full bodies be visible, with Pomni on her knees while Ragatha kneeling down to hug her. However, I struggled to get the positions right, so I went with a simpler route by going only as far down as their knees, and having both of them facing the camera, so that way, you can see their facial expressions. I was also considering on having the background be yellow, as my last Digital Circus art had a red background, but when I looked at it, the bright coloring implied that it was a happy drawing and that it blended too well with the skin colors of the characters, so I decided to go for a red background again, not only to make the characters pop out more, but it also allows the bright glow around the characters to be more visible. When it comes to the title, it's supposed to be a pun of the expression "all is forgiven". I was considering calling it "Ragdoll Is Forgiven", but it didn't sound right to me, so I got rid the "Reg" part so that, when you read the title out loud, you'll have an easier time figuring out what the pun is supposed to be.

That's honestly all I've got to say about this artwork, but before I cap this off let me tell the story of the latest drama that's happening to me.

On Sunday, December 3, I completely lost access to my old Discord account. To make a long story short, a hacker was impersonating as a software engineer working at Discord, and has tricked me into changing the email I used open the account to something that makes it impossible to create for real. I've contacted Discord Support to see if they're capable of getting my account back, but for the time being, I'm currently using a brand-new account under a new email address and username. If you are friends with me on my old account, make sure you block it immediately before the hacker could get to you. Also, the name of the hacker is chenchaofan; whatever you do, do not answer him, and report him as much as you can. Because of this harrowing experience, I've now become extremely cautious to who I befriend on Discord now, as the only ones I'm sending and accepting requests from are to those I have complete, absolute trust in, like those I have to have interacted with on a regular or frequent basis. At this point, I don't want to elaborate any further, because talking about really drains my energy.

Okay, that's all there is to say here. Hope you liked this artwork, and stay safe this holiday season. After all, this is the time of year where a lot of people get injured from setting up decorations.
