This is probably going to be the last of my "Cuphead parries something pink" images, because I feel like at this point, the joke is starting to get stale. Truth be told, I was inspired to make this drawing after seeing the Steven Universe Season 5 finale "Change Your Mind". I loved the scene with Pink Steven (especially when he screamed "SHE'S GONE!!!"). Because of that one moment, I wanted to do another Cuphead related image, but I decided to add a twist to this one by having Cuphead and Mugman not end up hitting the target.

If there's one thing I really struggled with in this image, it was coloring in Pink Steven (this is also my first time drawing Steven in general, so don't complain if he looks off-model to you). Not only were the shades of pink blending in with each other a little too well, but the color of his outlines had to change in response to the lights and shadows on him. Another thing that really took a lot of time for me to make was the background. Like I said, I liked the part where Pink Steven shouted "SHE'S GONE!!!", so naturally, I decided to draw the crater he created when he screamed that line. I had to create a giant oval for the crater, had to use the line tool dozens of times to create the cracks, and had to add in the dust that flies out of the cracks (along with the particles). Lastly, I had to use Photoshop to add in the speech bubble because the tools on MS Paint don't have a thickness like that and I wanted the text to be this bold so it would add emphasis on the line being shouted.
