Description Four years ago, on May 2, 2016, The Loud House, a curious new animated program for Nickeldeon, premirered. It was about a boy named Lincoln Loud, who lives with ten sisters (five older, five younger), and it follows his misadventures as he showcases how to live in a house this crowded (and with only one bathroom). The show was created by Chris Savino, who was quite a veteran for some of the most modern cartoons, as he worked on Ren and Stimpy, Dexter's Laboratory, The Powerpuff Girls, My Life as a Teenage RobotΒ and Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil (which, if I'm correct, he directed every single episode of). However, on October 19, 2017, just five months after his creation turned a year old, he was fired from Nickelodeon when he was caught with multiple accounts of sexual harassment. Nowadays, he has taken a new path after becoming a born-again Christian by being an author for a few books and doing a Sunday newspaper comic called For Brothers (hey, his decision).

Back onto the show, I remember being curious about this cartoon as well when I first heard about it back in April 2016 (when I was still in high school!), and once I watched my first episode, I was immediately hooked. The charm of the show feeling like a throwback to the late 90/early 2000 cartoons, the loveable characters with their variety of personalities and the animation style influenced by newspaper comics really made the show fun to watch. Sure, there were some major stinkers (like "Making the Case", which I'm known, and infamous, for having a massive hatred towards, as I called it the worst animation I've ever seen), but the fact that the episodes I loved were really good, and they helped me forget all about the episodes I don't like. The show grew on me so much, that once the second season ended, I knew this show was personal to me, as it not only became my third favorite cartoon of all time (just behind SpongeBob SquarePants and Ed, Edd n Eddy), but this show changed my life forever, like joining the wiki, which made me one of the most reliable members in the fandom, influenced me to join DeviantArt, and being the show where I made most of my online friends. To this day, my love for The Loud House continues to grow, and I'm forever grateful that it changed my life in the long run, like helping me find my online friend circle and giving me a new reason to watch TV, as most of my favorite cartoons around 2016 were starting to end.

Now, onto the piece. I just want to get this one thing off my chest. Does this feel like a downgrade from my third anniversary pic? Yes. Am I ashamed of that? Nope. The reason why I find this piece to be a bit of a downgrade is because of tight scheduling. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, I had to shift to online classes, and the assignments I'm given are quite the workload; so much so, they take away from my personal time. As a result, I was given only like a few days or even a little more than a week to come up with something for this pic. That wasn't the only issue, as I was struggling to come up with an idea good enough to represent the number 4 in such a grand-scale way. I knew that, like last year's picture, I wanted to take advantage of the show's alternate universes (the gender-swapped universe from "One of the Boys", the rabbit universe from "White Hare" and the superhero universe from "Pulp Friction"), but, I needed a way to draw these four worlds together into a cohesive design. I was originally going to just draw the heads of every main character in these four universes (making the overall piece have a grand total of 59 characters, making it a new record for me) and having them mashed together like those "Class of ..." photos from middle/high school, but the high abundance of details felt like it would've taken me countless hours to fill in and color, not to mention that having a suitable pattern was quite a chore to figure out, so I opted to go a little simpler this year. But believe me when I say that what I have planned for the fifth anniversary drawing in 2021 will be my crowning achievement, as it will take me many months to complete, but the end result will definitely be worth it.

Like I said last year, here's to more greatness from the show in the future. With Season 5 being called a permanent game changer to everything and a movie set for a 2021 release (to coincide with the fifth anniversary of the show, hopefully), I believe this show will have a great future ahead of it. Though, I still have my doubts for its upcoming live-action Christmas TV movie for this year.

i have a feeling your loud house 5th anniversary picture will be the four multiverse meeting and interacting (in a similar vein to spongebob's 20th anniversary pic)

Happy fourth anniversary Loud Family, and I'm sorry if you are losing respected fans because of mediocre or bad episodes.

And I will agree that The Loud House is not a perfect cartoon, in fact not every episode is going to be written perfectly, there are some bad ones that we all had to put up with.

Four Lincolns from four dimensions. Totally reminds me of Yu-Gi-Oh Arc V.
