These Allophylids quickly outcompeted most of their ancestors, reproducing in much greater numbers and much faster, has allowed this species to spread to almost any available surface. They have lost all of their photosynthetic pigments, aswell as storing a certain type of bacteria like organism in their tissue that not only helps with decomposing, but also gives the plant a disgusting taste, making it unpalatable to most species.
