Description
Pterygotheirs are dolphin like nekton. They are agile swimmers and mostly consist of pursuit predators, hunting the Decarypterids that live in the open ocean and Anthostome reefs. They have 3 pairs of mouth structures, 2 pairs are used as the main biting structures, lined with either shell crushing rounded teeth or needle like piercing teeth. The pedipalps on either side are used to help manuever food down the creatures throat. A certain species that lives in the intertidal zone has evolved stronger muscles in their forelimbs, even evolving 2 finger like structures to help them drag themselves onto land.
