I saw the new TMNT yesterday and this morning and i'm going to watch it again today at 5! I wanted to draw this ever sense after the opening of the first episode when Mikey says to the empty bottle "mom"!! I don't know whether to feel sorry for them to never know a mother's love, or laugh because he hugged a bottle and called it mom!!ps: Teen Titan's Beast Boy's voice actor voices Mikey!
I have always liked them, ever sense i first saw them when i was little. They are all my favorites, i really can't choose between them! XD (the live action one's are entertaining, and the only girl that does't exist is Venus De Milo)
I didn't clean this up i just sketched and colored it!
But in this new one i especially like Donnie and Mikey! They act so cute!! Especially with Donnie's gap and his crush on April and Mikey's adorable freckles! >,<
of course Raph has his cute parts too with his little turtle pet! as for leo, well he's just awesome!
Dose anyone else see that black screen, it wasn't there when i first uploaded it and days later it wasn't there either, golly i don't like it when it appears :L

Lots of fans have reasons for prefering that version, too. Most is because it would make more sense in regards to how he taught the Turtles ninjitsu(Rat-Splinter learned ninjitsu by copying Yoshi's moves, which doesn't make a lot of sense, while having Splinter be Yoshi himself makes it an actual ninja master passing his teachings to his sons). I've also heard recently of fans who preferred Splinter and Yoshi being one and the same because it gives an element of tragedy in that Splinter was once human, but he now can't be with other humans because they'll see him as a freak.
My reason is mainly because Splinter just seems a lot more interesting as a human before his mutation.

I'm not really complaining about what they've done with Splinter, mainly because I like this portrayal of him for the most part, but I really think it would have been cool if Splinter had an ear missing like the films, but then again, I don't think Nickelodeon would ever be able to get away with that on a kid's show, even if this new series has implied death.
