Skelethorn, i got the idea from a thorny rose, actually his got a partner. a girl in rose armor but i haven't got the time to draw it. anyway i done this in about 20 hours in total of course. i scanned my thumbnail sketch, then directly paint on it. yeah just using one layer. "why bother tracing the line if your gonna paint on it anyway" so i thought. but in the end i realized that's not very wise coz i can't freely edit it later on... after spending some time again, i edit it n decided to put the sketch on the background
