If the fanart wasn't an "original fanart" no it wouldn't be cool, but sice I did the drawing, and there's no other like this one, yes I can sell this, don't even get me starte about people who sell original AT work as theur onw, yes the fanbase can create original work and sell it, or I want to see you say it for people who do DW and MLP to stop what they're doing, so yes I'm selling this and I'm not the only one, have a nice day

Technically, there is the exclusion of profiting on said intellectual property, which may negate difference between CC and rights. This sort of thing, like you said, happens in much worse incarnations and no copyright backlash. There was a huge amusement park not far from my hometown that was closed for being blatantly themed by a Hanna Barbara character without license. Another is that "Calvin pees on something" decal, which goes without reprimand. This is just stuff in North America, mind you (count the handmade Hello Kitty and Mickey Mouse trinkets sold in Guatemalan tourist traps, for example)

by the way did you know this character is in fact a fanbase character? So I think you just get your infromation right and stop picking on people, I can sell it because I did it(the art), the profit is rightfully mine because I made the art sir, the character is the only thing that isn't mine, thus, even if it was in big scale, I don't see cartoon network complaining about "we love fine" and other really big websites who sell adventure time t-shirts made by the fanbase, if you have such a bug problem with people selling fanart(that by the way are incentivated by the creators of the show that won't be losing any money with it) e-mail cartoon network and see if they give a single little fuck about my t-shirt
